As Terry has had a minor setback since Christmas Marcus Easterlow & Paul Cronin have agreed to help run the league.

 

   Late signing on must be registered with League Secretary (Terry Morgan) before they can play.

 

All result sheets should be sent to Marcus

and collections not taken to meetings.

The Coventry Arms are moving to Willoughby for the season.

The fixtures have all been placed on the website. As always, the version you should rely on is the issued fixture sheet. If you find any conflicts on the website please advise me so that the problem can be investigated.

RULES 2012

 

CHANGES HIGHLIGHTED

  1. Dart Board and throw to comply with the following measurements: - 5'-8"(1.72m) Bull centre to floor, face of board to Oche 7'-9¼" (2.37m) along ground.Ladies may throw 7 foot along the floor to toe-line. 
  2. Players may play in singles,doubles & trebles. 
  3. Games to commence at 20.30 any player not present at 22.30 shall not be eligible to play.Home Captain to put first game on, then alternatively.
  4. In all games AWAY player to go FIRST in leg 1,HOME player to go first in leg 2. If DECIDING leg required toss coin to determine whom goes first.
  5. If a player requires a double but a dart falls out with his or her dart in the double that counts as game.
  6. All players must be registered with League Secretary and may register up until midway through season. No player permitted to play for two teams in season. ONLY ONE MALE SENIOR COUNTY or PDC PLAYERS CAN SIGN FOR A TEAM.Players receiving a "call-up"may play for remainder of season.
  7. LEAGUE FORMAT 6 SINGLES (BEST OF 3 X 301 LEGS),2 DOUBLES (BEST OF 3 X 501 LEGS) Double Start & Finish (No Burst)
  8. TEAM KNOCKOUTS.Players must have played in at least 3 League Games before they can play Quarterfinal & onwards. 6 SINGLES (BEST OF 3 X 301 LEGS), 2 DOUBLES (BEST OF 3 X 501 LEGS) & 1 TRIPLES (BEST OF 3 X 501 LEGS) Double Start & Finish (No Burst)
  9. Teams shall receive 2 points for a win 1 for draw. WINNING TEAM or HOME TEAM if DRAWN TO RETURN RESULT SHEETS (WITHIN 4 DAYS OF GAME) FAILURE TO RETURN SHEET WITHIN ALLOTTED TIME WILL Result IN LOSS OF 2 Points or £2 fined. 
  10. No matches may be cancelled unless date is agreed to when match will be played.One weeks notice must be given to opposing captain regarding any alteration to fixture. League secretary to be contacted and given date of re-arrangement, which must be before last league game of season.
  11. Collections may be made after sixth game of each match. Trophies will be presented to the teams with the highest accumulative collections in each division plus Annual Shield for highest in all divisions.
  12. All collections to be handed in at Delegate Meetings or sent to League Secretary before meetings.Please identify each collection with tags provided.
  13. A £10 bond is held by league for every team. Fines will be made for the following: - Non attendance at meeting £2. Late match cards £2. Non completion of fixtures £5. Withdrawing from league £10.
  14. All cups & shields, which are the property of the O.A.P Association, shall be returned to the Secretary not later than the last delegates meeting, in a clean condition, or a fine of £5 will be imposed on the defaulting team/persons. All teams/persons are responsible for damage or loss of trophies whilst in their possession.
